This facility is focused on seniors, seniors with disabilities and is funded as part of the affordable housing program administered by the City of Brantford Housing Services.





McAsphalt Office/Warehouse Renovation

This company requires a 7500 ft2 office complete with new change rooms, dispatch and lab. The facility will also have a 30,000 ft2 warehouse renovation and new loading dock.





Industrial Development

Cormorant Road, Ancaster, ON


Lanca was awarded the Construction Management for the design and construction of this flagship building to be located in Ancaster's Tradewind Industrial Park. There will be three buildings with Buildings C & D being a 90,000 sq ft manufacturing space and building E is to be a 40,200 sq ft three storey office building. The office building is to provide luxury industrial leased space for office and manufacturing. Full curtain wall glazing surrounds the "jewel-like" three storey office structure. Manufacturing space consists of 3" stucco embossed wall panels and a Robertson standing seam roof maximizing today's available R values.





BGI Retail Corp

County of Brant Industrial Park - Rest Acres Road & Bethel Road, Brantford, ON


This 67,600 ft2 industrial project will be a Robertson Pre-Engineered building for the warehouse. The warehouse building will have prefinished metal cladding with an eave height of 24' and standing seam roof. A contemporary two storey office structure will be added totaling 11,000 ft2 with reflective curtain wall exterior, a precast concrete second floor with exposed structure ceilings and a two storey main atrium entrance.

Blossom Ave Investments is excited to announce that they have purchased the former Castelli Bakery property on Dalhousie St in downtown Brantford. The company is planning to build a six storey 100-160 bed student residence that will be a combination of brick, stone and glazing. Commercial leasing space will be provided on the street level of the building.



Lancashire Developments

Branieda Industrial Park, Bury Court, Brantford, ON


Lancashire Developments is excited to announce that they will build a new 60,000 square foot industrial building for lease. The building will be located on Bury Court in Brantford's Braneida Industrial Park. Construction is scheduled to start in the fall of 2012 and be ready for occupancy in the spring of 2013.

Toyotetsu Die Storage Addition

Simcoe, ON


Construction includes turn-key general contracting services for this 23,300 ft2 addition. Expansion will be a Robertson pre-engineered building approximately 42' high to house a new 20 ton double girder bridge cranes. Construction is slated to begin in May, 2012 and to be completed by August 2012.

Glen Morris Public School Addition

Glen Morris Road, Glen Morris, ON

Working with MMMC Inc Architects, this 1200 ft2 addition for full day kindergarten will provide the extra classroom and washroom needed. Work will include selective demolition of existing parts of the building, new footings, foundations and slab on grade. There will be finished carpentry, architectural woodwork and ceramic tile wall finishes, new carpet and painting.

Belmont Fire Station

Caesar Rd, Belmont, ON

The addition to the existing Fire Station will be constructed with wood framing and pre-finished metal finishes. Interior renovations include new washroom facilities and a new Mechanical Room. The existing communication tower will be relocated and the existing siding will be replaced to match new addition. Construction to be completed by August 2012.

Woodland Cultural Centre

Mohawk Street, Brantford, ON


Lanca Contracting was awarded this contract by J.H. Cohoon Engineering, who is acting as consultant for the project. The 22,000 ft2 renovation to the Cultural Centre Museum includes a full roof replacement, new exterior wall finish along the front face of the building, interior wall and ceiling repairs and new floor finishes. All work is expected to be completed by early summer - just in time for tourism season.
